One of our favourite parts of designing our products is being able to work with so many wonderful and talented artists, both locally and internationally. We love supporting fellow creatives, and their artwork and prints are truly what makes our products so unique and special. So, we would love for you to get to know the people behind the artwork and what has inspired them to create such beautiful pieces that we are honoured to have on our product!

Cass Deller

Who are you and where are you from?

I'm Cass, a watercolour artist and surface pattern designer from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. I'm a mum of two littlies, creative business owner & mentor to other artists and designers.

What inspires your art?

I am deeply inspired by my lifestyle here on the coast, where we truly feel like we can intertwine business and family life, surrounded by gorgeous beaches and palm trees. I grew up in the city, however my work has always been inspired by summer holidays and that coastal vibe. I've always been obsessed with art and homewares, and so through surface design my two passions
have really been able to come together.

Which prints have you designed for us in the past?

The prints that I hand painted for TSC are: Garden Party, Jungle Safari, Mustard Floral, Sunshine Fruit, Caribbean Jungle, Wild Monstera, Bushed Protea & Orange Blossom.

Which is your favourite print that you've designed for TSC and why? 

My favourite design that I have created for TSC has to be Orange Blossom. I have a deep connection with this print as I remember painting it so freely and it just came to me so intuitively. I knew that this design was going to look stunning on TSC products and every time I see this design, it just makes me so happy. There is so much vibrancy and joy in this painting, it's a special one to me :)
