Customer Happiness Associates

The Somewhere Co. is on the hunt for Customer Happiness Associates join our team, based at our Banyo Warehouse. This is a seasonal casual role, with hours flexing up significantly throughout November and December. To be successful, team members must be available from Monday 7 October to Friday 31 Jan.

What we’re looking for

We are searching for customer service superstars to help us ensure our community enjoys a memorable experience with us during our busiest season of the year. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be customer obsessed, care about the little details, be a great problem solver and an exceptional communicator. You’ll be the type of person who loves nothing more than to make someone’s day!

 This is a casual role, with hours ranging depending on the needs of the business. Shifts may range between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday with the possibility of some weekend hours – all flexible depending on your availability. Hours will peak during November. There is an extended leave ban during November and December.

  Day to day, you will:

  • Tenaciously chase the best possible experience for our community, every single time
  • Deliver WOW experiences for our customers across all channels – phone, email, social media, reviews and in person through click and collect
  • Help build our community by developing warm connections across all channels
  • Become familiar with our CX KPIs and understand their impact on the overall Customer Experience: Response Time, Resolution Time and CSAT
  • Process customer returns and exchanges, recognising the impact a positive return/exchange experience can have on long term customer value
  • Star in social content, our community loves to see behind the scenes!

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Great time management and organisational skills, the ability handle multiple tasks on the go at once without breaking a sweat!
  • A genuine love of people and passion for creating authentic and engaging connections
  • Computer wizardry with typing finesse
  • Highly regarded skills:
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally with an omnichannel e-commerce background
    • Experience with Gorgias or other helpdesk platforms
    • Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms
    • Experience with Aus Post or other shipping platforms
    • Administration experience
    • Prior retail or hospitality experience
